Associate Professor Siobhan Brady featured in 'Women in Plant Science' interview

The global plant council   To mark Ada Lovelace Day, the Global Plant Council conducted a series of interviews with notable women from the field of plant science. One of those interviewees was Genome Center Faculty Siobhan Brady. The primary research interest of the Brady Lab concerns understanding the role and development of transcriptional networks in plants. In the interview Siobhan speaks about the some of the challenges faced by women in science:
Finding the right time to have a baby is one example. I ended up having my first child five months into my position as a PI and the experience was one of the most challenging in my life. I was trying to find my feet being a new mum at the same time as being a new lab leader, writing grants and teaching.
