Around October 31, the Genome Center goes festive with its Annual Halloween Symposium during which speakers share their research through talks and poster presentations. Throughout the day, labs compete for the best costume, with the winning lab receiving an award and bragging rights. Other fun activities include a pumpkin carving contest and prizes. The Annual Halloween Symposium is free and includes a complimentary lunch for attendees.
