Thermo Fisher Scientific and the West Coast Metabolomics Center launch Center of Excellence in Clinical Metabolomics

The UC Davis West Coast Metabolomics Center and Thermo Fisher Scientific have formed the Center of Excellence in Clinical Metabolomics, which is a collaboration that aims to provide the metabolomics community with best practices, standard operating procedures, and innovations.

The center will be located at UC Davis' Sacramento campus, enabling metabolic profiling for large-scale population-based cohorts for both research and medicine. The center will showcase how clinical metabolomics can be used in a fast, cost-effective, and routine manner for both cross-sectional and longitudinal population cohort research
