Avacta Life Sciences have compiled a leaderboard of the
Top 100 Twitter Influencers Working in the Life Sciences. In the first published version of this list, it is noticeable that UC Davis is represented by 7 scientists, several of whom are members of the Genome Center, including the scientist who is currently at the number 1 spot!  This top 100 list will be updated weekly and  is based on data from many different sources:
We use key metrics to rank influencers, taking into account social media activity and engagement across many social networks including Twitter, Facebook, Youtube, LinkedIn and Instagram.
