Genome Center researchers help send microbes into space

Project MERCCURI is a citizen science project led by several researchers from the UC Davis Genome Center (David Coil, Jenna Morgan Lang, Russell Neches). Microbes taken from various locations on Earth will be sent to the International Space Station to see how they compete. The UC Davis Health System news site has more information on this story.
