GC-HUG
October, we officially launched the GC Hive Users Group (GC-HUG) to better support everyone using the Genome Center’s shared computational resources. GC-HUG was created as a space for Hive users to connect, troubleshoot, and share tips, so no one has to navigate complex analyses or cluster issues alone.
GC-HUG now meets monthly via Zoom on the first Wednesday of each month, providing a regular forum to discuss workflows, performance, storage, and emerging needs. In addition to Zoom meetings, the group stays connected through a listserv for announcements and updates, as well as a Slack channel for quick questions, peer-to-peer help, and sharing resources in real-time.
Whether you are a new or experienced Hive user, GC-HUG is here to make your computational life easier, more efficient, and more collaborative. Users interested in joining the monthly Zoom meetings, listserv, or Slack channel, please contact Patricia Baldrich (pbaldrich@ucdavis,edu) to sign up and get involved.
