Qualifications: The applicant must have a Ph.D. in Neuroscience, Biochemistry, Molecular, Cellular, Developmental Biology, or a related field. Experience working with gene editing and neuronal cell models (e.g., differentiation of hiPSC to neurons or rodent primary neuronal cultures) is required. Wet-lab experience with whole-genome assays (e.g., 4C, HiC, off-target analysis) is also preferred. This work will be partially supported by the NIH Somatic Cell Genome Editing program; therefore, candidates must have excellent communication skills and be comfortable working collaboratively within the lab and the consortia labs.
