Jonathan Eisen named Faculty Director of the UC Davis Microbiome Initiative

Genome Center Professor Jonathan Eisen has been named Faculty Director of the UC Davis Microbiome Initiative, a new “Special Research Program,” under the administration of the Office of Research.  The purpose of this program is to raise the profile of UC Davis Microbiome activities, establishing collaborative links with microbiome researchers at UC Davis and other institutions through seminars, workshops and joint proposal development efforts.
