Parking

Lots 53 (west) and 56A (east) are most convenient to GBSF. Information about campus parking is available at http://taps.ucdavis.edu, or call 752-TAPS (8277).

A valid UC Davis permit is required to park on campus. You can purchase a parking permit online at https://taps.ucdavis.edu/TAPS-Store, or by visiting the TAPS office.

Visitor Parking

Visitor permits may be purchased for $6.00 from permit dispensing machines located at the north entrance to VP Lot 53 and at the south end of VP Lot 54. After 5:00 pm, visitor permits are also valid at meters and in “A” permit areas.

UC Reciprocal Parking

Reciprocal parking at other UC campuses for up to 5 days is provided to faculty and staff parking permit holders who are on university business. The permit holder should contact the campus parking office to make arrangements.

Aggie Stadium - Event Parking


The Office of Research Management and Planning has developed special arrangements for employees that must work during scheduled events at Aggie Stadium. Details of game day parking can be found at http://directives.ucdavis.edu/2007/07-067.cfm.

Unitrans

Unitrans is operated in partnership by the Associated Students of UC Davis (ASUCD) and the City of Davis, and provides public transportation service to the entire city with over 40 buses on 15 routes, carrying over 3 million passengers a year. UCD/UCDMC Shuttle

The UCD/UCDMC Shuttle provides service between campus and the Med Center for persons affiliated with the University of California - this includes faculty, staff, students, interns, volunteers, patients, and visitors. The shuttle schedule is online at http://www.taps.ucdavis.edu.

Tickets and passes are available for purchase at the following locations:
• UC Davis Transportation and Parking Services Office located on the ground level of the West Entry Parking Structure
• UC Davis Cashier's Office in 1200 Dutton Hall (first floor)
• UCDMC Parking and Transportation Services located in the Facilities Services Building UCDMC Parking lot 3 kiosk, east of the Davis Tower

Berkeley Bus

The Intercampus Bus service provides transportation between UC Davis and the Berkeley campus. There are two round trips daily (Monday through Friday). The bus picks up and delivers passengers at the Library receiving dock on the south side of Shields Library on the Davis campus. Reservations are recommended. Bicycles

Bicycle licenses are required on campus and are available at the TAPS office. The current price is $8 for three years. Bicycle licenses increase the likelihood of a stolen bike being returned.

Lost and Found


Lost & Found Found property may be turned in at the UC Davis Police Department 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

If you've lost something on Campus, and want to report the loss, you may come to the UCDPD and complete a "Lost Property" card. The Lost Property card is kept on file for 60 days. Lost and Found hours are Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays (excluding University holidays) from 1:00pm to 3:00pm. If you are unable come to the UC Davis Police Department during these hours, you may call 752-3272 and leave a detailed message describing the property that was lost and provide personal information so they can contact you if they locate the item.
